Candie Myers

Director

Hi!  My name is Candie Myers and I'm the new Director of the Coupeville Boys and Girls Club.

I was born and raised in York, Pennsylvania and moved to Whidbey Island two years ago with my husband, a Naval Flight Officer.  I graduated from the University of Florida in 2003 with a degree in Political Science and English and from the Pennsylvania State Dickinson School of Law in 2006.  I have experience working with children in numerous capacities.  For the past few years I have served as a High School Girls' Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach and Head Junior High Girls' Basketball Coach, I have both volunteered in an elementary school and served as a substitute teacher, and I have organized summer basketball camps, summer leagues, and AAU teams.  I am looking forward to working with the children, parents, volunteers, and community of Coupeville to continue the mission and tradition of excellence of the Boys and Girls Club.
